Rest and Resistance

There are times when I don't feel like doing anything at all, except as much of nothing as I can so that I can feel rested. The result is that I often feel restless. One of the things that I have noticed is that I feel much better, much more rested when I first push against some resistance.

This resistance can be pretty much anything. For me, it is either some weight lifting or some work on my research or game development.

To sum it up, I've become aware that when you want to become rested, first push against some resistance. It sounds counter-intuitive but now that you have become aware of it as well, I hope it might be useful for you too.
