What are some things you love to do?

Something is bugging me when I think about how our society values work. The work itself may have many forms other than the conventional meaning. For example, creating art or cultivating self mastery. Why is work so valued? What would we do when we no longer need to work? There has to be something wrong when so much of our lives revolve around work. Yet at the same time it doesn't feel right to have our lives revolve around anything else such as family alone.

Technology and the Work Ethic

Sometimes I feel like the work ethic is a means to manipulate us. A number of articles I read described how the clergy used to do this.

What would utopia be like?

What is one thing that you would want to do?

Everybody has to work. What happens when we don't? Shouldn't we find at least one thing that we would love to do if we did not have to work and make sure that it do it at least once a day?
